الرباط هي العاصمة الإدارية للمغرب وموقع تراث عالمي لليونسكو، تضم بعضاً من أبرز المعالم الإسلامية والاستعمارية في البلاد. شُيِّدت قصبة الأوداية من قِبل الموحدين في القرن الثاني عشر على رأس تل مشرف على مصب نهر أبي رقراق، وهي من أجمل نماذج العمارة العسكرية الموحدية في المغرب، بأزقتها المبيضة وبوابة باب أوداية والحديقة الأندلسية المدرجة بداخلها. بدأ بناء صومعة حسان سنة 1195 في عهد الخليفة يعقوب المنصور، وكانت ستبلغ 86 متراً لتكون أطول مئذنة في العالم لو اكتملت؛ وتقف اليوم عند 44 متراً وسط ساحة من الأعمدة، بجوار ضريح محمد الخامس. أما شالة جنوبي المدينة فتجمع مدينة رومانية (سلا كولونيا) وتضم فوقها مقبرة مرينية، مع عش اللقالق على المآذن كل ربيع. تسرد هذه الصفحة معالم الرباط التي زرناها شخصياً، مع مواعيد موثقة ونصائح عملية.
